MONDAY
ACTIVITIES:
- Meet in room #118. Review shutter speed. Slow vs. fast, which is better for stopping motion?
- Review ISO. Which ISO would be most appropriate for outside today?? Make appropriate ISO adjustment.
- Go outside to take stop motion photos. After you have figured out HOW to freeze motion, PLAN an idea for composing a photo using rule-of-thirds, repetition and pay attention to what is in the whole frame (background and foreground)
Tuesday

ACTIVITIES:
- Students should work to complete their Exposure Triangle Slides presentation -except for the Shutter speed example images that they will take this week.
- Students should use the following Prezi (There is a link to it in the assignment in Classroom) to answer the questions about Ralph Eugene Meatyard. Due Friday
OR IF Mrs. McCain is willing and able to accompany students (and sub) outside, students take more shutter speed photos focusing on composition: background, rule-of-thirds, repetition and focal point.
Wednesday
ACTIVITIES:
- Rubric for DOF diptych
- Apply and edits to diptych
- Meet in room 118 tomorrow
Thursday
ACTIVITIES:
- Slow shutter speed pictures in the basement or auditorium. Use glow sticks, flashlights and tripods.
- Now that you can adjust the shutter speed to blur motion, focus on doing that AND creating a solid composition. Remember to think about what is in the background, the rule-of-thirds and the focal point
